Trauma and Healing

Group Exhibition held at the Espacio Gallery, London
I am delighted to announce that two of my artworks have been selected to be shown at the Espacio Gallery in Shoreditch for the pop-up exhibition called Trauma and Healing.
I feel honoured to have been chosen to exhibit alongside other artists sharing their journeys of recovery.
I will be exhibiting one of my most recent self-portraits titled 'Nourished', a delicate wash using pale blues and olive greens fading away to reveal a face beneath. My second portrait drawn in dusty charcoal titled 'Anorexia Nervosa', is a raw representation of emaciated, uncontrollable pain and despair.
This opportunity is incredibly important to me as an emerging artist.
My work hopes to inspire and raise awareness of eating disorders and visual impairment. Female empowerment and overcoming adversity are essential themes woven throughout my paintings and drawings. I share my stories and ideas through exploration and the development of new techniques.
The exhibition at the Espacio Gallery will be showing many different responses to, and representations of, trauma and healing.
The exhibition opens its doors on 27th - 30th April 2022 (opening times are to be confirmed).
